Thanks to our partnership with Nisa, we’re proud to support Making a Difference Locally (MADL) to add value to our communities through donations.
We, along with hundreds of other Nisa convenience stores, gather funding for local charities by selling MADL associated products (all Heritage products give to MADL and some branded products do too).
Once we have a pot of money, we find out what causes the communities around our stores care about, and donate to them. The donations may be to local sports teams, hospices or one of the many local charities operating in the UK.
As well as that, we regularly work with local community groups and local charities to help support the work they do.
Back in September 2020, we asked customers on our social media channels to nominate local charities, good causes and voluntary organisations. Our customers answered the call with 47 organisations chosen in need of financial help, with total donations in excess of £22,000.
